Clarification

In the previous post a confusion between a business and government led to the conclusion that the United States Government may be bankrupt. The fact is quite different.

Unlike a business, which depends on the whims of it's customers to earn income to pay its expenses, the United States Government has the ability to compel payment through the use of taxes. So the example used by the president's economists is specious. Look it up.
